Project Manager

Responsibilities:
– Assist in planning and implementing charitable programs;
– Provide comprehensive administrative and project support on implementation of charity projects, fundraising activities and events etc.;
– Closely liaise with internal and external parties to ensure smooth operations of the charity projects and fundraising activities;
– Establish and maintain a good relationship with stakeholders, and coordinate with supporting parties to enhance the quality level if necessary;
– Develop internal and external communication materials to promote the charitable programs;
– Hire, train, and evaluate volunteers performance and take corrective action when necessary;
– Work with the accounting and management teams to set budgets, monitor spending, and other expenses;
– Manage and provide regular progress update to management;
– Handle any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:
– Degree in communication, marketing, business management or any related field preferred;
– At least 3 years of working experience, preferably from NGO industry but not a must;
– Proficiency in PC knowledge and familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing as well as database management;
– Highly organized and able to multitask;
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Chinese and English;
– Able to work independently and as part of a team;
– Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines;
– Familiarity with budget planning and enforcement, human resources, and stakeholders relationship management;
– Self-motivated, hardworking, independent with good coordination and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility and accuracy, attentiveness to details, and willingness to learn, embrace and overcome challenge in work;
– Willingness to explore new idea and technologies, including social media, mobile apps etc.;
– Willingness to work during weekends occasionally;
– Candidates with less experience can be considered as Project Executive.
